About the Role
You will lead operational analyses of autonomous aircraft systems across component, system, mission, and campaign levels. You will build and run modeling, simulation, and wargaming studies; assess survivability and mission effectiveness; translate findings into design insights; and prepare technical reports and briefings. You will also engage defense stakeholders, refine concepts of operations, maintain reliable analysis pipelines, and mentor incoming talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics domain
- 9+ years of experience in operational analysis, modeling and simulation, operations research, or related defense or aerospace roles
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain an S//SAR security clearance
Responsibilities
- Plan, own, and execute operational analyses for autonomous systems
- Develop modeling, simulation, and wargaming analyses
- Translate operational findings into actionable system insights
- Perform trade studies and sensitivity analyses
- Build and analyze mission-level models
- Analyze force-on-force engagements, sensor performance, and autonomy-enabled behaviors
- Engage DoD stakeholders, operators, and analysts
- Develop and refine concepts of operations
- Monitor emerging threats and operational challenges
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and briefings
- Maintain reproducible analysis pipelines
- Coach and develop incoming talent
