About the Role
You will implement and support backend microservices for fraud risk systems. You will develop scalable APIs, manage production services, build product features, write tests and CI/CD scripts, solve performance and reliability challenges, collaborate across functions, and guide technology decisions throughout the service lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of software development experience
- Solid foundation in Java and JVM configuration optimization
- Knowledge of IO, multithreading, concurrency frameworks, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, MyBatis, or Spring Cloud
- Experience with MySQL, Oracle, and other databases
- Knowledge of database and SQL optimization
- Familiarity with Kafka, ELK, and Hologres
- Understanding of caching systems such as Memcached and Redis
- Understanding of distributed system principles including CAP, consistency, and idempotent operations
- Experience developing web services, SOA, REST APIs, message queues, and distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Implement and support backend microservices
- Develop 24/7 high-scale APIs and distributed systems
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and CI/CD scripts
- Own, monitor, and improve production services
- Develop and test product features across multiple domains
- Collaborate with engineering managers, architects, engineers, and QA
- Research and promote new technologies and tools
- Address performance, fault-tolerance, security, and production challenges
- Participate throughout the service lifecycle
