About the Role
You will develop tactical autonomy software for unmanned platforms and implement behaviors for multi-agent coordination, target engagement, reconnaissance, and survivability. You will own work across requirements, design, implementation, verification, validation, and long-term evolution. You will architect scalable subsystems, collaborate with integration teams and operational experts, guide technical direction, and travel to support end users and other teams.
Requirements
- Proficiency in production-level C++ software development
- 7+ years of experience in software subsystem scheduling and integration, behavior planning, task and resource allocation, motion planning, optimization, or flight controls
- Experience with version control, issue tracking, code review, and release management tools
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage projects from concept to deployment
- Ability to act as technical owner for an entire software system
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop tactical autonomy software for unmanned platforms
- Implement and test behaviors for multi-agent coordination, target engagement, reconnaissance, and survivability
- Lead software work from requirements capture through validation
- Architect scalable behavior subsystems
- Define technology roadmaps that enable behavior reuse
- Coordinate interface requirements with external and vehicle integration teams
- Represent software engineering in multi-stakeholder settings
- Travel to support end users and other teams up to 20% of the time
