About the Role
You will integrate monitoring and alert sources with ticketing and paging tools, build a unified operational dashboard, preserve alert context and severity, support transition from legacy tools, create health visualizations and telemetry correlations, and document the resulting systems.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of tools, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience
- 3–5 years of hands-on monitoring and alerting tooling experience
- Experience with Icinga or equivalent NMS, Grafana, and a SIEM platform
- 3+ years building API or webhook integrations
- Python or similar scripting ability
- 2–3 years building or modifying operational dashboards
- Understanding of ticketing and ITSM workflow tools
Responsibilities
- Map monitoring and alert sources and identify integration points
- Build and maintain alert routing and forwarding layers
- Validate routing logic with engineering subject matter experts
- Own on-call and notification integrations
- Design and build a unified operational dashboard
- Define and deliver dashboard scope
- Run legacy and new dashboard tools in parallel during transition
- Build SLA and health visualizations
- Build telemetry correlation engines
- Document routing architecture and dashboard maintenance
