About the Role
You will design and implement robust Rust services and libraries supporting trading, payments, and crypto experiences. You will write efficient and reusable code, contribute to distributed systems architecture, debug issues across the operating system, network, and application layers, collaborate with product teams, own systems end to end, and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in network services or asynchronous code in Rust
- Security-first system design
- Ability to debug across the operating system, network, and application layers
- Understanding of distributed systems, RPC protocols, Kafka, and event-driven systems
- Ability to collaborate with product teams on requirements and constraints
- End-to-end ownership of systems and libraries
- Ability to mentor engineers
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust Rust services and libraries
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code for revenue-critical systems
- Contribute to large-scale distributed systems architecture
- Translate product requirements into resilient, low-latency solutions
- Debug issues across the operating system, network, and application layers
- Collaborate with product teams to design appropriate systems
- Own systems and libraries end to end
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical culture
