About the Role
You will own and develop post-trade domains including reconciliation, settlement, booking, and reporting. You will work with Trading, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Data teams to understand workflows and requirements. You will design scalable backend services and data pipelines, improve automation and data quality, contribute to the technical roadmap, and ensure observability, reliability, and data correctness across systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building distributed backend systems using Java or C++ with exposure to Python
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, data structures, algorithms, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka
- Hands-on experience building data-intensive systems, ETL pipelines, and analytical data solutions
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills
- Proven ability to own complex technical domains from design through production support
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
