About the Role

You will build mission-critical platform infrastructure, libraries, services, and APIs that developers use to interact with the Stellar blockchain. You will design new platform functionality and developer-facing APIs, implement scalable web services, investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks, and author technical specifications (RFCs). You will collaborate in code reviews and design discussions, engage with the open-source community, and support production services across multiple languages and runtimes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software development experience on collaborative teams
  • Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and information retrieval
  • Proficiency writing server applications in Go, Python, Rust, C#, Java, or C++
  • Experience supporting production web services at scale
  • Ability to write reusable, extensible, and modular components using design patterns
  • Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and benchmarking
  • Excellent communication skills for technical discussions and reviews
  • Familiarity with existing frameworks and open-source tooling
  • Autonomous working style and collaborative mindset
