About the Role

You will build mission-critical platform infrastructure, libraries, services, and APIs that developers use to interact with the Stellar blockchain. You will design new platform functionality and developer-facing APIs, implement scalable web services, investigate and resolve performance bottlenecks, and author technical specifications (RFCs). You will collaborate in code reviews and design discussions, engage with the open-source community, and support production services across multiple languages and runtimes.

Requirements

4+ years of software development experience on collaborative teams
Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
Knowledge of distributed systems and information retrieval
Proficiency writing server applications in Go, Python, Rust, C#, Java, or C++
Experience supporting production web services at scale
Ability to write reusable, extensible, and modular components using design patterns
Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and benchmarking
Excellent communication skills for technical discussions and reviews
Familiarity with existing frameworks and open-source tooling
Autonomous working style and collaborative mindset
