About the Role
You will design, build, test, and deliver features across PingOne Authentication and SSO services. You will implement secure Java microservices and APIs, contribute to technical designs, improve resilience and observability, support continuous deployment, use AI-assisted engineering practices, and participate in on-call incident response.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of OIDC, SAML, and WS-Fed
- Experience with SSO and federation integrations, protocol troubleshooting, and identity provider or service provider configuration
- Significant experience building and deploying scalable, high-performance cloud services
- Senior-level Java development experience
- Experience with ReactJS is preferred
- Experience designing and building microservices and REST APIs using Spring or similar frameworks
- Experience contributing to technical designs, proof-of-concept work, and architecture discussions
- Experience operating or supporting production SaaS systems
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern build and delivery tooling
- Familiarity with Cassandra, Kafka, and event-driven distributed systems is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deliver features across authentication and SSO services
- Implement Java microservices and APIs for authentication, authorization, SSO, federation, and application integrations
- Contribute to technical designs and engineering decisions
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, UX, SRE, and engineering teams
- Improve service resilience, observability, operability, and deployment safety
- Improve engineering quality through testing, automation, code reviews, and maintainable implementation
- Use AI-assisted development practices to improve quality and delivery speed
- Participate in on-call rotation and incident response
- Perform root-cause analysis and follow through on production issue actions
