About the Role
You will design, build, and maintain backend services and event-driven distributed systems for banking operations. You will implement features end to end, write design documents, review code, mentor junior engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and improve reliability, tooling, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Go or another strongly typed language
- Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Experience at a Tier 1 technology company or significant open-source contributions
- Interest in fintech, banking, or financial infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Go or other strongly typed languages
- Develop scalable, event-driven distributed systems
- Collaborate with Product, Compliance, Treasury, and Operations stakeholders
- Write detailed design documents for features and system improvements
- Review pull requests and provide technical feedback
- Implement features from architecture through deployment
- Ensure code quality with maintainable code and automated tests
- Improve engineering practices, tooling, and system reliability
