About the Role
You will design, implement, test, and deploy features and optimizations for robotics middleware, vehicle operating-system software, deployment systems, and sensor interfaces. You will build high-throughput logging frameworks, improve performance and reliability, and ensure software quality through automated testing and code reviews.
Requirements
- Demonstrate proficiency in C++ and deep knowledge of multithreading, concurrency models, lock-free data structures, and memory management
- Understand software development life cycles and algorithm design principles
- Have experience developing high-performance software for resource-constrained environments, preferably safety-critical applications
- Understand POSIX, Linux, and concurrent programming
- Understand networking fundamentals
- Debug embedded systems
- Use tools such as Bazel and Boost
- Communicate effectively and work in a team environment
- Have experience with performance evaluation and optimization
- Have domain experience in autonomous driving, robotics, or a related industry
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-throughput, low-latency logging frameworks for parallel telemetry, event, and console data streams
- Design, develop, and optimize Clockwork features and interfaces
- Improve the performance, reliability, and usability of Clockwork in resource-constrained environments
- Prototype, develop, and maintain sensor interfaces for the perception system
- Ensure software quality through automated testing and code reviews
