About the Role
You will develop and operate core networking software for a high-performance AI datacenter fabric. You will design routing and traffic-engineering algorithms, build real-time switch software, validate designs through prototypes and experiments, create development and analysis tools, and deploy updates through tested, monitored release systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a technical discipline, or 5+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree
- Development experience in C or C++
- Professional experience writing high-performance C/C++ in production environments
- Knowledge of networking protocols, distributed systems, and large-scale datacenter fabrics
- Experience with real-time systems, high-performance computing, low-latency networking, or resource-constrained environments
- Experience with security considerations in large-scale distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Develop routing and traffic-engineering algorithms for the high-performance datacenter network
- Develop reliable real-time software for backbone switches
- Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews
- Develop prototypes and run experiments to validate design decisions
- Build tools for development, deployment, data analysis, visualization, and testing
- Deploy software updates through continuous integration and release systems with testing and monitoring
