About the Role
You will build internal tooling for AI-assisted coding, testing, deployment, and defect triage. You will improve pipeline observability, automate manual engineering work, integrate LLM developer tools with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and CI/CD systems, support responsible AI practices, mentor engineers, and use delivery metrics to improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Extensive software engineering background with technical judgement on production systems
- Hands-on Java or comparable backend-service expertise
- Test-driven development
- Pair programming
- Experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting production systems
- Experience evaluating or using LLM-based developer tools
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AI-enabled engineering tooling
- Contribute observability to the AI-assisted delivery pipeline
- Automate coding, testing, and release workflows
- Deliver work in small, continuously releasable pieces
- Integrate LLM-based developer tools with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and CI/CD systems
- Bring AI capabilities into the testing pipeline
- Refine responsible AI standards for the software development lifecycle
- Mentor less experienced engineers
- Work with security and compliance on AI tooling
- Track delivery, quality, and test metrics
