About the Role

You will build ingestion systems that extract data from OLTP systems with minimal production impact. You will deliver a scalable, available, fault-tolerant engine; debug and optimize production clusters; design architecture; investigate production issues; lead technical projects; and validate solutions through prototyping.

Requirements

  • BS or higher in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of production experience with Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language
  • Experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch
  • Hands-on experience developing and operating backend systems
  • Database replication, backup, or transaction recovery experience is a plus
