About the Role
You will lead technically complex projects and act as a multiplier for your team. You will drive the execution of high-impact initiatives from concept to production, dig into the architecture to simplify code and infrastructure, and use modern AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate your workflow. You will mentor peers through diligent PR reviews and architectural guidance, and partner closely with product and design to make sure the right solutions are being built. Requirements
- Experience with or desire to learn Python, Django, React, Postgres, and Kafka
- Familiarity with Java, gRPC, and AWS is a plus
- Ability to break down complex user stories into actionable tasks and execute them with minimal guidance
- Understanding of the technical trade-offs behind code decisions and ability to articulate them to stakeholders
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience recommended

- Lead the execution of complex technical projects from concept to production while maintaining high standards for performance and reliability
- Dig deep into the architecture to identify opportunities to simplify code and infrastructure, prioritizing changes with measurable business impact
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate workflow, improve code quality, and focus on high-level logic and unconventional problems
- Mentor and coach peers, raising the technical bar through diligent PR reviews and architectural guidance
- Partner with product and design to ensure the right solution is built for the user
