About the Role
You will be a highly effective full stack developer producing scalable software solutions as part of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. You'll work comfortably across both front-end and back-end coding languages, frameworks, and third-party libraries, bringing a knack for visual design and utility. Ideally, you bring experience in Blockchain and/or AI technologies to help guide the platform's use of state-of-the-art technology. You'll be expected to uphold the highest standards for quality, maintainability, and performance, ensuring engineering best practices are followed so software remains highly available, dynamically scalable, and resilient to continuity threats.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of relevant software experience as a full stack developer
- 3-5 years of Team Lead experience
- Good knowledge of React JS, React Native, Java Back End, AWS
- 3-5 years of experience in multiple technology domains, mobile, desktop
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in payments, financial markets
- BS in computer science/computer engineering or equivalent
- Ideally working experience in AI, ML and blockchain projects
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery and UI/UX design
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages; Kotlin, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript frameworks e.g. Angular, React, Node.js
- Familiarity with databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Familiar with Smart contracts in solidity or other smart contract virtual machines would be a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Great attention to detail
- 3+ years of people management experience, managing software developers
- Cloud based stack and multiple products within it including serverless features
- Experience with Linux, Kotlin, Cloud SQL, Swagger, Redis, Circle CI, Angular, React
- Experience with Twilio, SEON, Firebase
Responsibilities
- Work closely with technical leads, development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Contribute to establishing data acquisition and retention policies
- Contribute to designing machine learning and natural language processing approaches to mine data and generate value for end-users
- Write effective APIs
- Build robust test frames to ensure software remains responsive and efficient
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
- Drive technology innovations using cloud-native architectures, frameworks, applications and API/microservices, IaaS, PaaS and Cloud technologies
- Write technical documentation
- Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
