About the Role
You will instrument production infrastructure, build ingestion pipelines from partner APIs and internal services, and operate ETL systems for cost, margin, and usage analytics. You will develop low-latency telemetry paths and define data contracts and instrumentation standards with infrastructure, data, and product engineering partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software or data engineering experience
- Python, Go, or similar programming experience
- Critical production infrastructure experience
- Database performance and query-pattern knowledge
- Warehouse ingestion pipeline experience
- BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
- ClickHouse, Druid, Pinot, or similar
- SQL
- dbt
- Dagster, Airflow, or Prefect
- Cross-functional collaboration
Responsibilities
- Instrument core infrastructure for CPU, GPU, and request-level signals
- Build ingestion pipelines into BigQuery and low-latency analytical stores
- Design and operate ETL pipelines for cost, margin, and usage analytics
- Build a low-latency analytics telemetry write path
- Define data contracts and instrumentation standards with partner teams
