About the Role
Join a small autonomous engineering squad building seamless cross-border payments that blend crypto and fiat currencies. Collaborate with product teams, translate technical concepts for business stakeholders, deliver quality code, and contribute to engineering culture and standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, preferably in FinTech
- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience building and maintaining APIs and services
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Understanding of financial services, banking, payments, or crypto
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with distributed ledger technology or blockchain is a plus
- Data-driven approach and pragmatic analytical decision-making
- Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota
