About the Role
You will develop, implement, test, and integrate tactical autonomy behaviors for unmanned platforms. You will support multi-agent coordination, mission execution, verification, validation, and platform integration while collaborating on system interfaces and requirements. You will also contribute to reusable autonomy frameworks and travel to support testing and integration.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Production-level C++ software development proficiency
- 5+ years of experience in software scheduling and integration, behavior planning, task and resource allocation, motion planning, optimization, or flight controls
- Experience with version control, issue tracking, code review, and release management tools
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating complex software systems
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Develop tactical autonomy software for unmanned platforms
- Implement and test behaviors for multi-agent coordination, target engagement, reconnaissance, and survivability
- Contribute to requirements, design, implementation, verification, and validation
- Design scalable software components that integrate with sensor processing, state estimation, communications, and actuation
- Contribute to shared autonomy frameworks and codebases
- Deliver capabilities to vehicle platforms and support integration and iteration
- Align on interfaces and system requirements with cross-functional and external teams
- Travel up to 20% for integration, testing, and collaboration
