About the Role
You will define, model, integrate, validate, and evaluate SoC subsystems for complex AI acceleration devices. You will translate product requirements into architecture trade-offs, collaborate with engineering groups, evaluate third-party IP, support silicon bring-up, improve processes, resolve complex issues, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related subject
- Understanding of computer and SoC architecture
- Technical specification writing experience
- Knowledge of RTL development and verification processes
- Ability to work across teams and programming languages
Responsibilities
- Distil product requirements and assess their effects on SoC and platform design trade-offs
- Collaborate with processor, SoC, and system architects to determine optimal solutions
- Collaborate with silicon design, verification, and hardware engineers on implementation correctness
- Evaluate third-party IP and liaise with IP vendors
- Design and specify high-performance SoC subsystems and integrations
- Contribute to silicon bring-up, characterisation, and evaluation
- Represent Silicon Architecture in cross-functional working groups
- Improve infrastructure and processes
- Assist with complex debugging activities
- Mentor engineers on technical queries
