About the Role

You will develop low-level validation firmware and test content for AI accelerator ASICs from pre-silicon emulation through production ramp. You will bring up silicon, debug hardware and software failures, build automation and regression frameworks, define test coverage, and use lab tools for characterization.

Requirements

• C and C++ firmware and bare-metal development proficiency
• Python validation automation and scripting proficiency
• SoC and computer architecture knowledge
• Embedded development knowledge, including bootloaders, HALs, device drivers, register and interrupt programming, and bare-metal or RTOS environments
• Linux development and debugging knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Develop and own low-level validation firmware in C and C++
• Drive first-silicon bring-up, boot, initialization, feature enablement, and debug
• Debug and resolve firmware, RTL, electrical, protocol, and system failures
• Build hardware abstraction layers and low-level device drivers
• Develop validation automation, result-capture, and CI/CD regression frameworks
• Author firmware-driven test plans and define coverage metrics
• Validate and characterize IP blocks and accelerator components
• Use JTAG, UART, and analyzers for silicon debug and characterization
• Collaborate with design, verification, architecture, DFT, and driver teams
