Requirements

• Degree in Electronic Engineering Computer Science or a related subject
• Solid understanding of computer and SoC architecture
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience writing technical specifications
• Knowledge of RTL development and verification processes
• Ability to work across teams and programming languages
• Experience specifying complex silicon SoC devices desired
• Experience with machine learning or massively parallel computing systems desired
• Verilog desired
• Low-level software experience and embedded C desired
• Knowledge of DDR PCIe Ethernet or on-chip networks desired

Responsibilities

• Distill product requirements and their effects on SoC and platform design trade-offs
• Collaborate with processor SoC and system architects to determine optimal solutions
• Work with silicon design verification and hardware engineers on implementation correctness
• Evaluate third-party hard and soft IP and liaise with IP vendors
• Design and specify performant SoC subsystems and integrations
• Contribute to silicon bring-up characterisation and evaluation
• Represent silicon architecture in cross-functional working groups
• Improve infrastructure and processes
• Assist with complex debugging
• Mentor engineers on technical queries
