About the Role

You will maintain and optimize ASIC mining equipment and supporting electrical, cooling, and network infrastructure at a Bitcoin mining facility. You will diagnose hardware and power issues, install and test new equipment, document maintenance activity, support preventive maintenance, uphold safety standards, and guide junior technicians toward operational targets.

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years of experience in Bitcoin mining site operations or a similar high-density data environment.
• Understand ASIC miner architecture, firmware, and diagnostics.
• Be skilled in electrical and low-voltage systems, cabling, and power distribution.
• Understand networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, switches, and monitoring tools.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Be comfortable working in physically demanding and outdoor conditions.
• Be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and troubleshoot ASIC miners.
• Monitor and maintain electrical distribution, PDUs, and cooling systems.
• Diagnose and resolve miner performance issues, hashboard faults, and power irregularities.
• Install, commission, and test new miners and supporting infrastructure.
• Configure and monitor networks for ASICs and management systems.
• Maintain accurate repair, replacement, and downtime logs.
• Support preventive maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager and junior technicians to meet operational targets.
• Uphold site safety and compliance standards.
• Provide technical input for upgrades and scaling projects.
