About the Role

You will build modern C++ software across perception, planning, real-time execution, and closed-loop robotic control. You will develop collision-free motion plans, hardware drivers, localization and navigation capabilities, and learning-based or simulation-driven improvements to robot performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of robotics software development experience in modern C++
• Python experience is a strong plus
• Experience with real-time robotics, motion control, or controls software
• Multithreading, concurrency, and systems-level debugging skills
• Linux and Git experience
• Knowledge of TDD, unit testing, or CI/CD
• Experience with reinforcement learning, imitation learning, sim-to-real, SLAM, navigation, or ROS is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build motion and trajectory planning for task goals and multi-robot coordination
• Develop kinematics, reachability, inverse kinematics, and collision-free trajectory planning
• Build real-time control and feedback loops for trajectory correction, feature tracking, and visual servoing
• Extend robotic capabilities to mobile platforms through localization, mapping, and navigation
• Own hardware driver layers for robot controllers, sensors, scanners, and cameras
• Advance the robotics stack with reinforcement learning, learned planners, simulation, and sim-to-real training
