About the Role
You will lead working-level dialogue on extreme misuse risks from frontier AI. You will convene Chinese and Western researchers and practitioners, facilitate interdisciplinary discussions, produce consensus artifacts, track technical safeguards, deliver research projects, and translate findings into policy-relevant outputs and strategy.

Responsibilities
- Run working-level dialogue end to end
- Recruit participants and maintain relationships across Western and Chinese institutions
- Facilitate interdisciplinary discussions on AI misuse risks
- Translate dialogue into shared frameworks, joint statements, and best-practice documents
- Track technical safeguards and AI safety ecosystems in China and the West
- Scope and deliver technical governance research projects
- Commission or supervise external research
- Translate consensus outputs into policy-relevant materials
- Develop strategy for US-China coordination on extreme misuse risks
- Develop internal policy for sensitive bio and cyber research and convening
