Senior Research Associate - Global Equity (Technology)

About the Role
You will support senior analysts in researching global technology companies across hardware, software, semiconductors, and communication services. You will build and maintain financial models, conduct primary research, analyze market and company data, prepare investment materials, and participate in meetings and industry events. You will develop AI-enabled research workflows, maintain research databases, collaborate on investment ideas and security recommendations, and ensure compliance with applicable rules, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of relevant experience in sell-side equity research, investment banking, or buy-side investment roles preferred
- Financial modeling and accounting or statement analysis skills
- Knowledge of data gathering and analysis best practices and methodologies
- Knowledge of investment concepts and products
- Experience or demonstrated interest in technology business models, including semiconductors, hardware supply chain, software, or communication services
- Experience or interest in AI-assisted research tools and modern data platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard data sources
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Global experience or interest preferred
Responsibilities
- Support idea generation and company analysis across global technology companies
- Build and maintain financial models, including revenue forecasts, margin analysis, cash flow projections, and valuation work
- Conduct primary research using filings, transcripts, sell-side notes, industry news, supply chain developments, and competitive dynamics
- Develop expertise in AI tools, workflows, and applications for investment research
- Use AI to accelerate data gathering, synthesis, screening, and model maintenance
- Prepare research notes, earnings summaries, presentations, and other investment materials
- Participate in company, management, broker, and industry meetings and document key takeaways
- Maintain research databases and organize market, company, and financial performance data
- Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to identify investment ideas and recommend securities
- Ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
