Artemis is an Institutional Data Platform for Digital Assets offering tools for crypto data consumption including a crypto dashboard, spreadsheet plugin, Snowflake Data Sharing, and data integration via API. It aims to provide accurate crypto metrics in a no-code manner, inspired by traditional financial platforms, to empower crypto analysts with real-time market insights and data analysis capabilities.

About the Role
You'll produce sell-side quality equity research covering companies and tokens at the intersection of crypto and traditional fintech. You'll initiate coverage on a defined set of names, build financial models, and deliver a portfolio of published research. This is a part-time, focused engagement with the potential to convert into a full-time role based on your performance and impact.
Requirements
- Experience in equity research, investment banking, or asset management
- Strong financial modeling skills and comfort building DCFs, comps, and scenario analyses from scratch
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up
- Passion for crypto and fintech with conviction on names
- Ability to write clearly and persuasively
- Self-directed and able to thrive in fast-moving environments
- Based in the broader New York City area
- Experience covering fintech, payments, or digital assets is a bonus
- Published research read and acted on by institutional investors is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Write actionable sell-side quality research on individual securities and revenue-generating tokens with clear thesis points and price targets
- Build and maintain financial models (DCF, comps) with bear/base/bull case scenarios for each name in your coverage set
- Initiate coverage on a defined set of names across crypto equities and revenue generating tokens in Neobanks, Payments, Lending, Trading, and Prediction Markets
- Develop and defend investment theses backed by rigorous fundamental analysis
- Stay on top of earnings, filings, and market-moving developments across your coverage set
- Deliver a portfolio of published research over the 6-month engagement demonstrating the value of Artemis as a research platform
- Contribute to Artemis' vision of the ultimate investing platform for fintech
