About the Role
You will join UTA Advisory's Consultancy function as an Associate, leading market research and situation analysis through quantitative and qualitative methods. You'll apply analytical thinking and experience-based judgment to complex business challenges, focusing on critical issues, opportunities, and constraints that impact performance. You will likely be staffed across multiple clients or engagements at once, actively supporting teams as they advise clients, develop strategic insights, and implement key recommendations. You'll drive day-to-day project management, own calendars, trackers, and agendas, and support the creation of client deliverables such as marketplace analysis and benchmarking. You'll also communicate across project teams, flag risks early, and contribute to proposals and business development activities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of work experience in consulting, media, marketing, advertising and/or technology
- Proven analytical skills with expertise in qualitative and quantitative research
- Fluency in media/advertising/technology industry terms and trends
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Conduct market and company analyses, strategic diligence, and competitive benchmarking on key business issues
- Evaluate corporate and business unit strategies reflecting market, competitive and external drivers
- Assess new business and revenue opportunities and lead market sizing, business cases and capability assessments
- Drive day to day project management across client engagements or workstreams
- Own calendars, trackers, agendas and notetaking
- Monitor weekly to-dos and take proactive measures to ensure engagement success
- Support creation of client deliverables such as marketplace analysis and stakeholder discovery
- Communicate across the project team to align internal and external messaging
- Escalate project risks or potential missed deadlines in a timely manner
- Integrate learnings and best practices from related projects
- Contribute to proposals, thought leadership and business development activities
