About the Role
You will conduct in-depth research on Turkey’s foreign and domestic policies and assess implications for U.S. policy. You will write research memos and op-eds, monitor political, economic, and security developments, engage policy stakeholders, contribute to events, and support the program director.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong research and analytical skills on Turkey’s foreign and domestic policies.
- Demonstrate excellent writing skills for research memos, op-eds, and policy briefs.
- Possess knowledge of Turkey’s political, economic, and security landscape and its interactions with the United States.
- Have professional working knowledge of Turkish.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with policymakers, experts, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on Turkey’s foreign and domestic policies.
- Analyze Turkish strategic initiatives and their implications for U.S. policy and strategy.
- Produce research memos, op-eds, policy briefs, analysis, and recommendations.
- Collaborate on research projects and policy development.
- Monitor political, economic, and security developments in Turkey.
- Engage policymakers, experts, and stakeholders to disseminate research findings.
- Organize and participate in events, conferences, and briefings.
- Support the Turkey Program director.
