About the Role
You will process isotopes in hot cell and glovebox facilities, support laboratory operations, solve complex processing problems, coordinate radioactive and hazardous waste characterization, maintain production records, and ensure environmental, safety, health, and quality compliance.
Requirements
- Associate degree in physical or engineering sciences or a related discipline plus 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience
- Hands-on experience safely handling highly radioactive samples
- Communication skills for interaction with technical and non-technical staff
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow safe work practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Energy clearance
- Pass a pre-placement drug test and participate in random drug testing
- Complete a pre-hire physical
