About the Role
You will ensure the quality and reliability of custom-built order management, infrastructure, and risk management platforms. You will develop and improve automated test frameworks and test suites, manage release testing, execute manual tests, analyze results and logs, report release risks, and communicate defects and findings to the development team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software quality assurance experience in manual and automated testing
- 5+ years of hands-on Python experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and utilities
- 5+ years of UI automation experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks
- Ability to design and implement scalable test automation frameworks from scratch
- Experience testing REST APIs and microservices with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar tools
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated-test integration into software delivery
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and root-cause investigation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr
- Technical degree or equivalent professional experience
- Right to work in Switzerland through a Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship
Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality and reliability of order management, infrastructure, and risk management platforms
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test frameworks and test suites
- Drive improvements in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, release processes, and quality engineering practices
- Manage release testing, execute manual tests, review test outcomes, analyze performance results and logs, and report release quality and risk
- Communicate defects, errors, and test findings to the development team and track resolution progress
- Ensure final products meet product requirements and end-user expectations
- Balance manual and automated testing based on risk, complexity, and business needs
