About the Role

You will develop and execute end-to-end test plans and automate API, backend, and UI testing. You will design scalable automation frameworks using Selenium and Java, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, review code, investigate defects and root causes, and communicate quality metrics. You will collaborate on Agile delivery, provide testing recommendations, mentor junior team members, and drive continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
  • 5–9 years of Quality Assurance experience focused on automation
  • Proficiency in Go or Python
  • API testing and automation experience with REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools
  • Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or Serenity
  • 1–3 years of Selenium WebDriver experience
  • Experience integrating automated tests with Jenkins, Git, and Maven
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  • Communication and leadership abilities
  • Cloud-based testing experience with AWS or Azure
  • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
  • Customer-facing skills

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end-to-end test plans
  • Automate API, backend, and UI testing
  • Design and develop automation frameworks and test scripts using Selenium and Java
  • Review product and automation code
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • Participate in Agile planning, refinement, design discussions, documentation, and post-release support
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and product managers on test strategies
  • Troubleshoot operational and application issues
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
  • Communicate test designs, artifacts, and quality metrics
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Drive defect triage and continuous quality improvement
