About the Role
Lead manual, exploratory, and regression testing for complex features across multiple environments. Document and track issues, analyze production behavior, maintain test cases, support CI/CD coverage, manage test environments, investigate performance, and introduce AI-powered tools into QA workflows. Advocate for quality throughout planning, reviews, and releases while mentoring junior QA engineers.
Requirements
- Experience in software QA or testing roles with ownership of end-to-end quality
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Understanding of manual testing methodologies and the defect life cycle
- Proficiency with bug-tracking systems such as Jira and version control such as Git
- Experience using Postman or similar tools for API validation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment readiness processes
- Proficiency with browser developer tools and basic terminal or command-line usage
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for automated test development is a plus
- Understanding of backend technologies, APIs, and familiarity with PHP or related languages is a plus
- Experience working in Linux environments and using Bash scripting is a plus
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms or AI-based bug-triaging tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead manual testing of complex features across multiple environments
- Drive exploratory and regression testing using structured documentation and product knowledge
- Identify, log, and track reproducible issues using bug-tracking tools
- Analyze production logs and real-user behavior to identify quality gaps
- Create and maintain test cases, checklists, and QA documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure reliable CI/CD test coverage
- Evaluate and integrate AI-powered tools into QA workflows
- Manage test environments, staging pipelines, and job configurations
- Conduct load and stress testing and performance investigations
- Advocate for quality during sprint planning, reviews, and release cycles
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote proactive quality ownership
