About the Role

You will rapidly iterate, assemble, diagnose, and evolve robotic prototypes. You will troubleshoot electrical failures, collaborate on prototype design and bring-up, create test and repair documentation, design cable assemblies and test jigs, and improve processes that increase reliability, yield, and repair efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience in rapid physical prototyping and custom-hardware debugging
• Experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems in robotics or similar domains
• Knowledge of low-voltage and mixed-signal circuits, connectors, sensors, and electromechanical systems
• Experience creating documentation procedures, test plans, diagnostics, and lessons learned
• Ability to collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and software engineering

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in prototype robots
• Perform failure analysis and share findings with engineering teams
• Collaborate on prototype design, assembly, and bring-up
• Create and execute test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and repair runbooks
• Design and document cable assemblies, test jigs, and harnesses
• Improve processes and products to reduce downtime and improve test and repair efficiency
• Drive feedback loops across design, build, and test to improve yield and manufacturability
