About the Role
You will plan and execute projects from concept through completion. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, risks, customer relationships, suppliers, proposals, and stakeholder reporting while leading and mentoring cross-functional technical and project staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, science, mathematics, computer science, or business discipline
- PMP credential required within six months of hire
- Experience with project management frameworks, tools, and software
- Experience with government and commercial aerospace customers
- Experience with launch vehicles or payload development
- Experience with CubeSats, Small Satellites, or space platforms or payloads
- Five to 10 years of full-lifecycle project leadership experience
- Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder reporting
- Experience leading, training, coaching, and mentoring cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee project scope, schedules, and budgets
- Provide project reporting to teams and executive leadership
- Identify and mitigate scope creep
- Lead, train, and mentor cross-functional technical and project staff
- Manage customer relationships
- Support project proposals
- Oversee supplier relationships and contract requirements
