About the Role
You will organize concurrent spacecraft and payload projects across engineering disciplines. You will manage schedules, budgets, resources, risks, technical deliverables, vendor contracts, reporting, and proposals, while leading technical teams and monitoring critical paths and project constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Five or more years leading or supporting technical projects with lifecycle planning and execution
- Experience developing project budgets, schedules, and risks
- Experience balancing resources across multiple projects and tracking scope, schedule, and budget
- Experience working with engineering teams
- Ability to develop program plans and schedules for multiple concurrent programs
Responsibilities
- Create and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Integrate schedules to meet milestones and delivery requirements
- Coordinate with managers and leads on schedule, cost, and technical deliverables
- Create reports and records for company and customer compliance
- Create technical statements of work and contracts and evaluate contract performance
- Prepare technical progress reports, documentation, and presentations
- Monitor schedule progress, critical paths, forecasts, and constraints
- Lead technical proposals for mission opportunities
- Lead technical teams developing products and services
- Develop and manage work breakdown structures, program budgets, integrated master schedules, and risk posture
