About the Role
You will lead complex robotics and automation projects from customer engagement through implementation and handover. You will translate customer needs into technical and project requirements, manage plans, budgets, risks, scope, and timelines, and coordinate cross-functional delivery. You will support technical customer discussions, testing, commissioning, acceptance, and transition into operations or customer support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, robotics, automation, computer science, or a related technical field
- Several years of project management experience in robotics, automation, industrial technology, or a related technical environment
- Understanding of robotics, automation, electromechanical systems, or industrial technology
- Experience managing complex cross-functional technical projects
- Knowledge of project planning, risk management, scope management, and stakeholder management
- Ability to communicate technical requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Customer-facing and presentation skills
- Willingness and ability to work on-site and travel internationally approximately 20% of the time
- Fluent English communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead robotics and automation projects from concept through implementation and handover
- Act as the primary interface between customers and internal technical teams
- Translate customer requirements into technical and project requirements
- Support customer acquisition, solution definition, and project handover with Sales and Business Development
- Support technical discussions, presentations, solution proposals, and project scoping
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams
- Manage project scope, timelines, priorities, and change requests
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans
- Monitor progress and communicate project status, risks, and decisions
- Coordinate testing, validation, commissioning, and customer acceptance
- Ensure delivery and transition into operations or customer support
- Maintain customer and stakeholder relationships
- Improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies
- Travel internationally to customer, project, and company locations as required
