About the Role
You will support site planning, layout, design coordination, and execution for Spark data-center deployments. You will coordinate mechanical, thermal, controls, cooling, power, vendor, design, construction, and stakeholder work while executing deployment designs and helping transition systems to liquid-cooled architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with chilled-water systems, air cooling, and HVAC
- Experience with mechanical-system control strategies and sequences of operation
- Industrial or mission-critical experience
- Experience executing or managing chilled-water system installations and central equipment
- Working proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Knowledge of ICC, ASME B31.x, ASHRAE, and NFPA mechanical codes and standards
- Ability to work with hardware, software, design engineering, and construction teams
Responsibilities
- Support site layout, planning, design, and execution for data-center deployment projects
- Support mechanical and controls design, specification, and equipment selection
- Coordinate site infrastructure deployment methodologies for chillers, transformers, and UPS solutions
- Work with design and construction partners and internal stakeholders to execute projects
- Support mechanical and thermal rollout from air-cooled systems to high-density liquid-cooled architectures
- Serve as a dedicated Spark deployment resource for project-level engineering
