About the Role

You will own and improve release test procedures, plans, checklists, and operating procedures. You will set pass/fail criteria, audit test execution, triage failures into engineering tickets, verify test evidence for release decisions, identify coverage gaps, and report testing progress, risks, and readiness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, quality assurance, release engineering, or a related role
• Experience owning or improving test procedures, QA processes, or release and quality gates
• Understanding of software testing pipelines, regression testing, and staged rollouts
• Experience driving process improvement and change management in cross-functional organizations
• Organizational skills to manage multiple test cycles and priorities
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to support an on-call rotation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting release schedules

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, version, and improve release test procedures
• Communicate release timelines to engineering and operations stakeholders
• Define pass/fail and escalation criteria and audit test runs
• Triage test failures and coverage gaps into engineering tickets and track resolution
• Confirm complete and current test evidence for release-gating decisions
• Compare coverage across release-testing stages to identify gaps
• Improve test scope, cycle time, and signal quality
• Report testing progress, blockers, risk, and release readiness
