About the Role
You will lead a product that helps public transit planners improve their communities, joining the Remix team to work on market-leading transit planning software used in hundreds of cities around the globe. You will conduct frequent customer interviews and track customer requests to understand the needs of transit and transportation planners. You will synthesize these needs into a product strategy and prioritization framework with clear, measurable goals, securing buy-in from cross-functional stakeholders. You will work closely with engineering and design teams to scope, design, build, and iterate on features that advance this strategy, and partner with marketing and success teams to communicate and roll out new products to customers. You will measure results, learn, and iterate, while staying current with industry trends to drive innovation. This role is based in NYC.
Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of experience as a product manager or de facto product manager for a software product
- Ability to break down complex logical and technical concepts and find product-oriented solutions to divergent customer requests
- Ability to quickly and independently learn about new, highly technical and specialized domains
- Natural empathy for users and instincts for what makes a great software product
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, with a bias for action
- Deeply collaborative approach to work
