About the Role
You will define and prioritize engineering requirements from researcher workflows, build product roadmaps, and maintain feedback loops between research and engineering. You will drive adoption, manage cross-functional execution, own data-platform and public API roadmaps, define benchmarking strategy, and oversee product compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Five to eight or more years of product management experience
- Experience shipping developer-facing or research-facing APIs, platforms, or tools
- Ability to translate research-driven needs into engineering requirements and a sequenced roadmap
- Experience partnering with engineering teams on technical-platform prioritization and execution
- Interest in AI research, agentic systems, and scientific discovery
- Experience with compliance-related product requirements, including data access, deletion, and privacy regulations
- Written communication
- Stakeholder management
- Experience with agent frameworks, LLM tooling, or orchestration platforms
- Experience with public-facing developer products
- Familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, and data governance regulations
Responsibilities
- Define prioritized engineering requirements from researcher workflows
- Articulate tradeoffs and guide prioritization
- Build and sequence the roadmap for the agentic framework and supporting tools
- Create feedback loops between engineering and research
- Drive adoption of platform tools among researchers
- Project-manage engineering workstreams and unblock dependencies
- Own the data platform and public APIs
- Define benchmarking strategy for scientific agents
- Own regulatory and governance compliance requirements
- Represent researcher and developer perspectives in engineering planning
- Represent engineering constraints and tradeoffs to research and leadership
