About the Role
You will be embedded in a cross-functional squad, partnering with your team throughout the product lifecycle from discovery through to launch and future iterations. You will use your full range of Product Design skills to discover, research, design and deliver engaging, well-crafted experiences across mobile and web, evolving design concepts from early-stage prototypes to high-fidelity mock-ups. You will deeply understand the members you are designing for, whether by running your own user research sessions, gleaning previous insights or digging into usage analytics. You will play a supporting role in evolving the design process, helping estimate design effort, tracking to OKRs, and measuring how experience impacts members. You will work alongside colleagues within the Design practice to understand the core needs of members and find innovative ways to meet them, and you will use and contribute to the Tide Design System to keep experiences consistent and world-class.
Requirements
- At least 4+ years of experience designing digital products for web and mobile platforms in a product design or UX role
- A portfolio or case study demonstrating product thinking, user experience, interaction and visual design skills, a clear process and measurable impact
- Ability to identify when research is needed and experience running moderated sessions with users
- Experience designing complex products and collaborating with cross-functional peers in product and engineering
- Great storytelling skills to clearly communicate the why behind your work
- Impact-driven mindset with pragmatism about trade-offs
- Understanding of the end-to-end design process from ideation to launch and ability to collaborate with engineers
- Demonstrable proficiency in Figma
- Good understanding of Design Systems and accessibility
Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the Design practice to identify and meet member needs
- Use and contribute to the Tide Design System
