About the Role
You will oversee complex renewable energy asset portfolios and act as an Owner’s Representative. You will manage project financials, risks, contracts, compliance obligations, stakeholder relationships, and operations and maintenance oversight. You will prepare performance reports, resolve commercial and regulatory issues, and identify opportunities to improve revenue, costs, and risk outcomes.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of relevant energy industry experience
- Project finance, legal contract, and accounting knowledge
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- Organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Presentation and communication skills
- Knowledge of renewable energy markets, technologies, regulations, and trends
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex renewable energy asset portfolios
- Manage project financial matters and analyze budget variances
- Support resolution or mitigation of major plant outages
- Ensure compliance with project governing documents and regulatory requirements
- Maintain renewable energy project data and summarize contractual deliverables
- Prepare recurring project-performance reports and respond to inquiries
- Manage relationships with authorities, investors, regulators, landowners, and other stakeholders
- Resolve contractual, regulatory, and commercial issues
- Identify opportunities to improve financial results while balancing risk
