About the Role

You will administer the PLM system and engineering change processes, manage product-data governance, and coordinate Change Control Board activities. You will maintain BOMs, revision control, and integrations with enterprise systems while assessing change impacts, resolving issues, and improving processes across operational functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting complex hardware products.
  • Experience in engineering change management, PLM, configuration management, manufacturing operations, or supply chain operations.
  • Hands-on experience administering PLM systems, workflow management, product-data governance, and engineering change processes.
  • Experience managing BOMs, item master data, revision control, engineering releases, and product documentation.
  • Experience supporting PLM-to-ERP integrations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of PLM, manufacturing operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Experience with PLM platforms such as Empower, Arena, Windchill, Agile, Propel, or Teamcenter.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP or comparable ERP systems.
  • Experience using Jira or similar project-management and workflow tools.
  • Organizational, communication, project coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own and administer Engineering Change Request and Engineering Change Order processes.
  • Review engineering changes for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Coordinate Change Control Board activities and change implementation.
  • Monitor ECO metrics and develop reporting dashboards.
  • Administer the PLM system, including user access, workflows, lifecycle states, and governance standards.
  • Maintain released engineering product data and resolve PLM issues.
  • Ensure the integrity and traceability of BOMs, part revisions, item master records, and engineering documentation.
  • Audit engineering and product data and drive corrective actions.
  • Optimize product-data flows between PLM, ERP, and related systems.
  • Assess change impacts and develop implementation, disposition, and transition plans.
  • Coordinate engineering changes and product-data initiatives across stakeholders.
