About the Role

You will design, build, and operate multi-region AWS infrastructure running on Kubernetes and managed with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm. You will own high-availability architectures, event-driven systems, object storage at petabyte scale, cost optimization, developer self-service tooling, infrastructure standards, security hardening, and on-call operations. You will scope ambiguous projects, choose technical approaches, and deliver them to production.

Requirements

• Deep AWS expertise
• Strong Terraform experience
• Production experience running Kubernetes
• Experience designing distributed systems
• Experience with high-availability architectures
• Experience with multi-region architectures
• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Ability to explain and defend technical trade-offs
• Autonomous project execution
• Approximately 6+ years of experience in SRE, Platform, or Infrastructure roles
• Security mindset

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate multi-region AWS infrastructure
• Deploy infrastructure on Kubernetes using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm
• Own high-availability architectures and object storage at 15PB+ scale
• Operate Kafka-based event streaming in a distributed, event-driven system
• Drive cost optimization across the infrastructure stack
• Shape multi-cloud and Bring Your Own Storage architectures
• Build internal developer self-service platforms
• Set standards for infrastructure as code
• Perform security patching, vulnerability analysis, and infrastructure hardening
• Participate in shared on-call operations
• Reduce alert noise and operational toil
• Write and defend technical RFCs
• Deliver projects from scoping through production
