About the Role
You will lead the DevOps and SRE organization responsible for the reliability, scalability, security, and cost efficiency of AWS production infrastructure. You will build and manage a globally distributed team, set the infrastructure roadmap, lead SecOps and incident management, improve observability and automation, and contribute hands-on to architecture, tooling, and response efforts.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of DevOps, SRE, or production infrastructure experience
- People management experience
- Production AWS experience including EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and S3
- SecOps experience including vulnerability management, incident response, and remediation
- 5+ years using observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD automation experience
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash
- Git and test automation pipeline experience
- Linux or Unix production platform experience
- Incident management and on-call leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a globally distributed DevOps and SRE engineering team
- Own the AWS production infrastructure roadmap
- Lead security operations including vulnerability management, threat detection, incident response, and remediation
- Define and track infrastructure reliability, automation, and security OKRs
- Champion observability and alerting practices
- Drive Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, and automation practices
- Align infrastructure, access control, tooling, and compliance standards with engineering and IT
- Maintain security controls, data protection, and audit readiness
- Lead production incident management and the on-call rotation
- Provide technical guidance on cloud, DevOps, and security practices
