About the Role
You will design and build the control plane that powers a GPU marketplace, turning diverse vendor compute into a unified, programmable product. You will architect abstractions, policies, and golden paths that simplify developer workflows. You will design tenant management systems, build resource lifecycle APIs, implement identity and access control, establish billing and quota frameworks, and create multi-cloud abstractions. You will collaborate with engineering peers to craft scalable, maintainable solutions for distributed systems and ensure the control plane is robust, secure, and developer-friendly.
Requirements
- Expertise in platform engineering and control plane design
- Experience in API design and development including RESTful APIs, resource lifecycles, and versioning
- Deep understanding of multi-tenancy architecture including tenant isolation, project hierarchies, and quotas
- Experience with identity and access management systems including SSO, organizational structures, and RBAC
- Ability to design golden paths and strong developer experiences
- Systems thinking with experience designing scalable architectures for distributed control planes
- Experience building compliance, policy enforcement, and governance frameworks
- Track record of building production-grade platform services used by developers or enterprises
- Preferred: experience with cloud platforms, PaaS or IaaS, Kubernetes control plane, CRDs, and operator patterns
- Preferred: familiarity with billing systems, metering, usage tracking, quota enforcement, service mesh, API gateways, rate limiting, and security/compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)
- Preferred: contributions to open-source platform or infrastructure projects or experience at major cloud providers
