About the Role
You lead platform enablement engagements from architectural advice through independent team operation. You provide design guidance, manage engagement scope and handover, develop reusable Infrastructure-as-Code modules and CI/CD templates, define engineering standards, provide short-term post-handover support, coach engineers, maintain documentation, analyze engagement data, identify platform gaps, and relay engineering feedback to platform teams.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering experience
- Architectural or technical leadership experience
- Hands-on AWS experience
- Experience with GitLab or equivalent CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure as code
- Experience with cloud and on-premises targets
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Honeycomb, or CloudWatch
- Experience with ServiceNow or Jira
- Strong communication skills
- Experience coaching or mentoring engineers
- Documentation-first working practices
- Experience with API gateway technologies is advantageous
- Familiarity with Internal Developer Portal is advantageous
- Experience with VM provisioning, Nomad, Vault, or Artifactory is advantageous
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural design advice

- Define and promote engineering standards
- Provide post-handover hyper care support
- Coach and mentor engineers
- Maintain runbooks, onboarding guides, and decision logs
- Analyze engagement patterns and support data
- Identify recurring problems and platform gaps
- Represent engineering feedback to platform teams
