About the Role
You will build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and application microservices. You will manage containerized applications, implement infrastructure as code, build CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance and security, automate operations and recovery procedures, participate in on-call response, and contribute to FastAPI and Python application services.
Requirements
- 6+ years of cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, or DevOps experience
- AWS experience
- Infrastructure as Code experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- TypeScript, Python, Bash, or PowerShell proficiency
- Cloud networking, security group, VPC, load balancer, and DNS knowledge
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Monitoring, observability, and incident-management knowledge
- Linux system administration experience
- Containerization experience
- Distributed-system troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage containerized applications using EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Design and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Automate operational tasks and disaster-recovery procedures
- Establish SLAs and SLOs
- Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, and post-mortem analysis
- Contribute to FastAPI and Python application services
