About the Role

You will lead clinical development for early-stage oncology assets from IND-enabling work through first-in-human and early efficacy studies. You will develop clinical strategy, author IND materials, design trials, monitor safety, guide patient-selection plans, engage investigators, and coordinate programs with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• MD or DO, or international equivalent; PharmD candidates with relevant experience may be considered
• Board eligibility or certification in hematology, oncology, or medical oncology preferred
• Approximately 5+ years of drug-development experience for Senior Medical Director or 8–10+ years for Executive Medical Director
• Hands-on experience authoring and executing IND submissions
• Experience designing and running Phase 1 or early-phase oncology trials
• Experience with oncology assets
• Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and global oncology regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical development strategy for early-stage oncology programs
• Author and drive clinical components of IND submissions
• Design first-in-human and early-phase oncology trials
• Provide medical monitoring and safety oversight for active trials
• Define patient-selection strategies, pharmacodynamic endpoints, and development hypotheses
• Engage key opinion leaders, investigators, and study sites
• Collaborate with regulatory, CMC, clinical operations, biostatistics, and program management partners
• Contribute to portfolio decisions, candidate selection, and due diligence
