About the Role

You will own the design, deployment, and lifecycle of a multi-site network. You will plan bandwidth, respond to incidents, harden configurations, manage network standards and segmentation, support remote access and vehicle connectivity, and maintain topology and disaster-recovery documentation.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the OSI model
• Hands-on experience with enterprise switching, routing, wireless platforms, and lifecycle management
• Experience operating firewalls, VPNs, and WAN optimization for multi-site organizations
• Familiarity with mesh or overlay VPN and zero-trust tools
• Experience with IPAM and VLAN design
• Linux proficiency
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform
• Experience with network monitoring, observability, on-call, and incident-response processes
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of the multi-site network
• Lead ISP and bandwidth planning
• Manage network incident response and root-cause analysis
• Implement on-call coverage, escalation paths, and runbooks
• Audit and harden network configurations
• Define and enforce network hardware and firmware standards
• Maintain IP addressing, VLAN architecture, and network segmentation
• Evaluate and manage zero-trust remote-access tooling
• Support vehicle connectivity
• Ensure reliable developer-facing network paths
• Scale networks for on-premises compute and storage clusters
• Create and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and disaster-recovery runbooks
